Introduction
The
WM-AN-BM-23 SiP module is uniquely suited for Internet-of-Things
applications. It supports all rates specified in the IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n
specifications.
The module makes it easier for system design to
enable high performance wireless connectivity without space constrain.
The low power consumption and excellent radio performance make it the
best solution for OEM customers who require embedded 802.11a/b/g/n
dual-band WiFi such as industrial and medical sensor, home appliance,
embedded audio markets, or wireless home devices.
The module is
based on Broadcom BCM43907 chipset. The Radio architecture & high
integration MAC/BB chip provide excellent sensitivity. The device
includes an ARM Cortex-based applications processor, a single stream
IEEE 802.11n MAC/baseband/radio, a dual-band 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz transmit
power amplifier (PA), and a receive low-noise amplifier (LNA). It also
supports optional antenna diversity for improved RF performance in
difficult environments.
In addition to WPA, WPA2 and TKIP, AES, CCX, WPS is supported to provide the latest security requirement on your network.
Hardware evaluation kit and development utilities will be released base on listed OS and processors to OEM customers.
